Walls are covered with potions, some that light up an otherwise dimly-lit room. The atmosphere is a pretentious effervescence and a turn from Friday-night-out. It’s known for the drinks, including punch bowls $50 for six drinks or $90 for many more, a reasonably priced crowd pleaser. The cocktails are expertly concocted and revel in every detail, like the home-made ginger beer or little pomegranate seeds that sink to the bottom. The food is to match, with tasty fish tacos filled with form-keeping tilapia and finely pressed guacamole.
