Tucked in a terrace off the corner of Avenue & Cumberland, this oversized ‘brasserie’ (the French for “brewery”) is a cross between full-blown restaurant and a ‘bistro’. Cursive typography, white tablecloths and steak frites all point to an unexciting affair. It turns out not to be so. The salmon was confident but it was the fully presented half-pepper that counteracted an otherwise mushy combination of salmon and quinoa.
