Aug 30: Obikà (★★★)

Okibà is opposite Marché in Brookfield place. It tries to be an unfussy mozzarella bar. It is perceived as a short repose during a lengthy, looming night. A monochromatic mushroom risotto looks ever so serene on an aqua blue plate. The rice is al-dente, but the entire dish is dry, bland and unsatisfying. It certainly does not wave like the sea.
